HOW TO WATCH 2026 WINTER OLYMPICS: Snowboarding

  |   SLUSH STAFF

We just renewed our subscription to Peacock because the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan are underway. Literally, the Opening Ceremony is happening right now. It’s Friday, February 6th at 2:00 p.m. MST. The Games will be going on all month, and although we’ll tune into more than just snowboarding, we are snowboarders. To make things easier for us—and you—here’s a breakdown of how and when to watch snowboard-specific events.

WHERE TO WATCH:

The main two places to tune in to snowboarding at the 2026 Winter Olympics are Peacock and NBC. The difference comes down to access vs. highlights.

Peacock will stream every snowboard event live, including qualifications, early-morning finals, and full runs without edits. If you want to watch Big Air, Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Snowboard Cross, and PGS from start to finish—often in real time—Peacock is the best choice.

NBC  on the other hand, focuses on primetime coverage. You’ll see select snowboard finals, medal moments, and curated highlights packaged for evening viewing. It’s ideal for casual fans or anyone who wants the biggest moments without waking up at 3 a.m.

We’re writing this, like I said, during the Opening Ceremony, so we missed our chance to tell you about the Men’s Big Air qualification that happened last night. But here is a breakdown of everything moving forward—Big Air, Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Parallel Giant Slalom, and Snowboard Cross.

SNOWBOARD SCHEDULE:

Because the Games are in Italy (6 hours ahead of EST, 8 hours ahead of MST), many snowboard events will take place overnight or early morning for U.S. viewers. Yes, you can watch full replays of past Olympic events on Peacock. Primetime NBC replays will highlight finals nightly.
