Not everyone was handing out catalogs at Interlude, but Joe was. So we just want to say thanks for making all this information…public. Alright fine, I’ll quit it with the dad jokes, for now.

First on the docket is the guest pro. Last year’s guest pro was the incomparable John Shanahan and it seems like the skate GOAT to Public pro pipeline hasn’t dried up with avant garde legend Ben Kadow taking the reins. Public’s strength, at least superficially, has always been board graphics—a breath of fresh air in an era of regurgitation (and now AI). Kadow’s board, and frankly all boards in the 2027 lineup, show that Public hasn’t lost step. The Guest Pro is the General Public: Alert camber with a medium flex and a classic twin shape, perfect for laps through the park or handrails in the streets.

The Jibgurl board is back and it’s as loud and hectic as ever. Don’t be dissuaded though, it works. If this board was anything else it may not ring true. And with a traditional camber design and a flex that lands somewhere between soft and medium, this thing is sure to be as much of a staple in the streets as it is in the park.
